What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in your skin. They restore volume that fades with time, add gentle structure and soften deeper lines and folds.

Treatments can be tailored to enhance the lips, soften nasolabial folds, define the chin and jawline, or subtly reshape and contour the nose. Unlike anti-wrinkle treatment, which relaxes muscle movement, fillers work by adding volume and support. Hyaluronic acid fillers can also be dissolved if ever needed, which adds an extra layer of reassurance.

Areas we treat

  • Lips: hydration, definition and subtle volume (see lip filler)
  • Cheeks: restoring lift and contour to the mid-face
  • Chin: balancing the profile and improving projection
  • Jawline: definition and a sharper, more structured outline, popular with men
  • Nasolabial folds: softening the lines from nose to mouth
  • Marionette lines: lifting the lines from the corners of the mouth
  • Nose: subtle, non-surgical reshaping and contouring

Our approach: never overdone

Every face is different. Before any treatment, we look at your proportions, your skin and how your face moves, then recommend only what will genuinely improve balance and harmony. Sometimes that means building results gradually over more than one appointment. Our goal is to leave you looking refreshed, balanced and like yourself.

What to expect.

From your first conversation to your aftercare, this is how an appointment works.

  1. Consultation

We discuss your goals, assess your facial balance and review your medical history before agreeing a plan.

  2. Treatment

Numbing cream is used where appropriate, and most fillers contain a local anaesthetic for comfort. Results are visible straight away.

  3. Aftercare

Some swelling or bruising is normal for a few days. Avoid make-up on the area for 12 hours, exercise and alcohol for 24 hours, and saunas for 2 weeks.

Clear, honest pricing.

Your questions, answered.

How long do dermal fillers last?

Typically between 6 and 18 months, depending on the area treated, the product used and your own metabolism.

Will it look natural?

Yes, that is our priority. We use a conservative approach and would always rather add a little more at a review than overdo it.

Can fillers be dissolved?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with a specialist enzyme if ever needed, which is one reason they are so widely used.

Is there any downtime?

Most people go straight back to normal activities. Some swelling and occasional bruising can occur and usually settles within a few days.

How much filler will I need?

It depends on your goals and the area. We'll recommend an amount at your consultation, often starting with less.
